Beam is a micro payment service that lets you shop without cash, pay utility bills, send cash gifts to each another and recharge your mobile all from the comforts of your home.

Beam distributes pre-paid vouchers that you can purchase in the denomination of Rs. 100-1000 and load account, against the mobile number, through IVRS or SMS. Once the account is loaded you can use the service to pay utility bills, shopping, travel etc.

Through their service, you can even get micro-credit and can remit repayments to MFIs/ banks as well as make donations with just an SMS from your mobile phone.

You can use Beam pre-paid vouchers for making payments at any of the Beam member merchants in your city.

You can use Beam’s Micropayment services in grocery stores, chemists, department stores, telecom dealers, restaurants, fast food joints, cigarette shops to Self Help Groups of microfinance institutions, and banks. You would find a sign ‘Beam Accepted Here’ displayed where they accept their service.

Beam enables individuals, small merchants, micro-entrepreneurs to make and receive payments allowing them to integrate and benefit from the growing economic opportunities.
