mMail is a service that provides you access to your emails via SMS without the need to use GPRS service on your phone.
It works completely on SMS and does not require internet connectivity.
Their server pulls email on your behalf from your mail account, encrypts it, packages it as a SMS and sends it to your mobile phone. While sending mails, it receives SMS from your phone, packages it as an email and sends it to the recipient.
Currently they support Gmail based accounts by enabling your IMAP access on your Gmail account.
They also provide an alternate Java client app if you opt for that option which works only on MIDP 2.0 enabled GSM phones.
Their pricing plan at the minimum 250 email alerts for INR 90 (including taxes). Thereafter, you can increase the number of email alerts in the multiples of 50, i.e. 300, 350, 400 etc. depending on your usage.
They also provide solutions to enterprise as well to increase efficiency and productivity of employees.

Unique Features and Our Reviews
mMail is a product offering from Cervello Inc, an IIT & an IIM Grad start-up aiming to provide innovative and cost-effective products and solutions to mobile phone users.
It’s a service that lets you read and send emails using sms. The subscription based offering is also a lucrative business model that can be scaled up in coming times.
There seems only one concern - services like mMail are really good as long 3G handsets and WiFi access are offered at a premium cost, once these are available at an affordable cost, the business can go for a tailspin.
