Microsoft Releases Office 2010 Public Beta Version

Microsoft announced the availability of the public beta of Office 2010 along with SharePoint Server, Visio, Project and Office Web Apps.
The new Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta productivity suite is available in 32-bit as well as 64-bit versions. Both packages include tweaked versions of the Office applications - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access, Publisher, InfoPath, SharePoint Workspace and Communicator.
The Office 2010 suite features new Office Communicator 2007 R2 integrated in Outlook 2010. The Communicator will allow users to sync their Windows Live and other social networking site feeds in Outlook.
Businesses can start testing Office Web Apps, which include editing in Word and OneNote Web Apps. The consumer version of the suit is still in technology preview stage in Windows Live.
Microsoft aims to release Office 2010 final version in first half of next year.
