AirMe to Launch Photo Sharing Service PhotoWall in India with Microsoft

10 Nov 2009

US-based AirMe has launched PhotoWall, an online photo sharing service that allows users to upload pictures from mobile phones, tag them and send to their Flickr or Facebook accounts.

AirMe has signed an agreement with Microsoft to promote PhotoWall in India and also manage advertising sales on a co-branded site MSN.PhotoWall.com.

PhotoWall is a live content feeder to the most popular social network and photography sites, as well as a unique web destination for an entirely new way to tag, search, combine and use mobile media.

PhotoWALL showcases a “true real-time” media stream by showing media live as it is captured. Their mobile applications work in conjunction with their server technology to only show live media as it happens. If the media is not live or they can not verify the true capture point, it does not appear on the live Global Wall or other live search walls.

PhotoWall is a powerful new medium to communicate and stay updated. Its ability to leverage the ubiquity of photographs is amazing, and we are excited about the new horizons it opens up for consumers.
