YouTube Adds Auto Share Options in Uploaded Videos

12 Jun 2009

YouTube recently added the "AutoShare" features in to its video sharing service.

Now you can automatically share the videos uploaded on YouTube with your Facebook friends, Twitter followers, and Google Reader shared item readers.

YouTube's Video File Upload page will show AutoShare options with list of services such as Facebook, Twitter and Google Reader. When user uploads a new video successfully, the update about the same is syndicated to the services selected in the AutoShare options.

YouTube is basically trying to turn your social network into a automatic video subscriber. Your newly uploaded video can reach the Most Viewed or Most Discussed pages as you post new videos, without you even informing about them explicitly to your friends.
