Yahoo! 360 Social Network Closing on July 13, 2009

Yahoo will close its Yahoo 360 social-networking site in July, something it originally planned to do in early 2008 and later delayed to last year's second half.
Yahoo 360, once the company's best bet to compete in the social-networking market, will shut down on July 13, by which time its users should have migrated over to the new Yahoo Profiles service.
With your new profile on Yahoo! you’ll be able to connect with other people on Yahoo!, and share your updates and activity with the people you meet on the Web.
Yahoo 360 had 13.9 million worldwide unique visitors in April. In September last year, Yahoo also shut its other social-networking site, Yahoo Mash.
Late last year company launched its "universal" profile service, Yahoo Profiles, which incorporates basic social-networking functions. However, Yahoo Profiles doesn't match the features of Yahoo 360.
Yahoo 360 was launched in March 2005 as a social network & blogging service.
