HTC Launches Touch HD in India

Taiwan-based HTC recently announced the launch of an entertainment focussed mobile handset, Touch HD, in India.
The phone packs 5 megapixel camera and offers video viewing and auto focus capabilities. The handset also features a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio-out which lets users connect the mobile to any headset of their choice or other audio equipment.
The phone boasts of a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen running at a high resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
Other features include 3.5G support, aGPS and WiFi. HTC Touch HD handset comes equipped with TouchFLO 3D user interface that offers quick and intuitive access to the people, messages and content.
The phone runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro. It has 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, 512 MB of flash memory, and 288 MB of RAM. Priced at Rs 42,990, the phone is billed as Internet and multimedia device for personal as well as business use.
