Company Profile My name is Ankur Dutta and I am working as an Assistant Manager in a Tech Support BPO.
During my 6 years of work experience, I have come across some business ideas which I would love to run though you however the purpose of this email is to discuss one particular business idea which has caught my attention and has a lot of potential.

Requirement Description:

Online sales have steadily been targeted for the younger and middle age in the US however the senior group which are equally prospective seem to have been left out.

Out the various need gaps available for capitalization, one of the most prospective is the online medical supply sphere. Since the senior citizen group has a higher requirement of medical supplies and other daily aids equipment, the possibility of capturing this market at the absence of large scale marketing is extremely lucrative.

As of 2008, 23.4% of US population is above the age of 55 years (source: U.S. Census Bureau, Current Population Survey, Annual Social and Economic Supplement, 2008) which is roughly ¼ of the country’s population.

Needless to say that as the population ages, the need for target marketing will need to refocus on the ageing population in the US.

My proposal is to create and market an online store catering to continental US and parts of Canada targeted specifically for the over 55 age group with services ranging from medical supplies & supplements to specialized living aids (loco and non-loco) but not restricted to these opportunities.

I am searching for an angel investor who is willing to provide the seeding money to the tune of $50,000 initial for the initial setup and supplier networking as well as online and (if required) offline marketing including an e-commerce website.

At present, the few online medical supply stores make about $200,000 a year in revenue with an average margin of 40%.

Given this equation, the business potential is huge if marketed effectively.

I am willing to start immediately if a like minded and motivated investor shows keenness.

To show a few examples, please visit the below online medical supply e-stores catering to senior citizens which proves potential.
