You are invited to attend the Indo-US Workshop on ‘Epigenetic and Genome Control’. The meeting will be held on December 16-18, 2009 at the Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, India.
The present symposia will also facilitate the exchange of ideas and information, discuss the latest techniques of epigenetics, and to increase scientific interaction amongst the Indian and the US group. The goal of this meeting is to bring together working on different organisms, including plants, insect, mouse, humans, to accommodate them in a single platform.
Epigenetics is the study of mitotically or meotically inheritable changes in gene function that cannot be explained by the change of DNA sequences. Epigenetics influence range from hormones to growth factors and which is preferably blended with different physical factors including ambion temperature and orientation of the gravitational field etc. The epigenetics was right now accounted and addressed as the most important aspect of different vulnerable diseases and vertebrate bodies. A great exploitation of epigenetics will help to unravel the new switch of gene regulation and contribute it centrally in the integrity of the genome. The real breakthrough of mechanistic understanding of epigenetics came from chromatin and nuclear dynamics, chromatin structure and architecture changes, nuclear clustering, sub-nuclear compartmentalization and many more.
